Start by choosing your base coat (black is recommended for maximum color vibrancy) and then adding a heaping tablespoon of our Canadian blue Flake (royal blue Flake) to any base clear coat (we recommend using a base clear for mixing, such as PPG’s DBC-500 or HOK’s inter coat clear). Despite being called “Canadian Blue metal flake,” our Flake is made from high-quality, solvent-resistant polyesters designed to withstand the chemicals in clear coat.
