This product comes in a 4 fluid ounce jar and is a finely milled .004″ powdered flake that is designed to spray easily through all standard paint gun tips. In many of the older flake jobs, the excessive knockdown and sanding required for the paint job made metal flake a less desirable option. It’s also common to see metal flake paint jobs that have become a disaster because the flake was too large to easily go around the edges of doors, hoods, etc. The fact is, you can still get a big sparkle with small Flake, which is why we primarily sell the smallest metal flake size, although we can also provide larger flake sizes for anyone who requests them.
