- Ideal for use with airbrushes, HVLP guns, brushes, powder coating equipment, dip sprayers, concrete sealing, leather wipe-on coatings, and plastic manufacturing.
- Micro Flake (.004″) is the easiest to spray, offering seamless coverage and high impact with no knockdown.
- Mini Flake (.008″) provides a bolder flash, for those willing to put in a little more effort to get that just right look.
- Bass Boat Flake (.015″) is perfect if you desire that classic 70s-style big flake look and are ready to work for it.
- Our Flake has a temperature tolerance of 400 degrees, making it great for use under heat lamps and in powder coating booths.

We now provide all sizes of Flake in many of our most popular colors. While we personally love the ease of use of small Flake, we also know that a lot of people out there want that larger metal Flake, so we’re giving you that option. Creating a beautiful Midnight Blue metal flake paint job is easy with our Flake. Simply choose your base coat (black is ideal if you want the paint to truly take on the color of the Flake) and add a heaping tablespoon of our flake to any base clear coat (although we recommend using a base clear for mixing the flake into, such as PPG’s DBC-500, or HOK’s intercoat clear). While they’re called “Midnight Blue metal flake” additives, our Flake is made from special solvent-resistant polyesters that are designed to withstand the chemicals in clear coat.
