Guaranteed to mix smoothly with any clear paints or tinted candy paints, this pigment boasts a heat tolerance of up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Its superfine powder sprays beautifully through airbrushes, powder guns, and HVLP paint guns. Being exceptionally lightweight, it stays well mixed in your paint without settling too quickly. You can achieve both subtle and heavy effects—it’s entirely your choice. One 25 gram bag of Butter Yellow Paint Pigment can treat 1 to 2 quarts of clear. This Butter Yellow Candy Pearl pigment is incredibly versatile, and you can use it in any clear mediums, including concrete and tile sealer, leather finishing, or faux finish!

At Pearls and Pigment, we pride ourselves on the quality of our candy pigments. Made with high-quality metallic Iron Mica colored pigments, our product delivers built-in iridescence. The mixture, however, will not be fully transparent due to the solid mica and iron particles. Despite this, you can still achieve good transparency with our candy paint pigments. To achieve full coverage, you’ll need a few coats to obscure whatever’s underneath. We recommend using about half a bag per quart of base clear or inter coat clear. Using a whole bag per quart would create a more opaque Butter Yellow Metallic Paint Pigment.
